Objective:

Amend existing legislation or create a new law that affords wildlife the same protections against cruelty as domestic animals like cats and dogs.

Why This Matters:

• The Daniel, WY incident showed that the overwhelming majority of Americans want wildlife protected from heinous acts of cruelty.

• Current laws leave wild animals vulnerable to brutal and inhumane treatment with little to no legal consequences.

Our Solution:

We demand federal legislation that:

• Establishes legal protections for all wildlife against cruelty and torture.

• Closes loopholes that allow for unchecked abuse.

• Ensures enforcement and accountability at both state and federal levels.

The Goal:

• Secure nationwide protections for wildlife from cruelty, just as pets are protected.

• Prevent horrific crimes against native carnivores and other wild animals.

• Align U.S. laws with public demand for ethical and humane treatment of wildlife.

America has spoken—wildlife deserves protection. It’s time to turn outrage into action.
